Rebekah Bolin: Senior Pastor
Pastor Rebekah is a native Wisconsinite (go Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and Bucks!) who moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to attend Fuller Theological Seminary to receive a Masters of Divinity. Pastor Rebekah not only loves the southern California weather (yay, no more snow!), the delicious international food scene, the unending hiking, the palm trees, the beaches, and the history of the city; more than anything she loves the people. In her opinion, the former things make L.A. worthy of a visit, but the latter reason makes the city a place to call home.
In October 2008, during a month of praying and fasting, Pastor Rebekah received a vision to start a church in Central City, an area in downtown Los Angeles. She initially thought the idea was crazy, but after several confirmations, she eventually started to share it with mentors and friends. After 10 years of hundreds of people praying, some planning, and several people stepping up to help, she started Fountain of Life Central City in October 2018. FOLCC is Pastor Rebekah’s heartbeat.
Outside of being a pastor and church planter, Pastor Rebekah works as a training instructor for United Airlines. This job allows her to travel and meet people from all around the world, which fulfills one of her huge passions. When not working, she loves to play on her Saturday morning soccer team, hike, hold babies, try new food, laugh, run half marathons, watch the World Cup every four years, play board games and cards with friends, eat around the dinner table with her family, and enjoy the adventures that come with following God. She loves the Lord with all her heart, all her soul, and all her mind and she probably loves you, too.
George Powell: Associate Pastor
Pastor George Powell has served in Christian ministry for over forty-four (44) years, in several capacities. He met and married the love of his life, Donna (Steele) Powell, in 1979, and celebrated his 39th wedding anniversary on September 1, 2018. Pastor Powell has an infectious love for people and has never met a stranger.
He has a compassion for lost souls, and a passion for the Word of God. He has been a faithful witness of the Gospel since 1974, having served on the mission field in Sri Lanka and India. He has served in both lay ministry and official ministerial positions including Elder, Assistant Pastor, Ordained Prophet, and Teacher. He has relocated to the Los Angeles area in January 2018 and is excited about the new chapter in ministry with FOLCC!
On top of studying and discussing the Bible, Pastor Powell loves to watch old movies and westerns and spend time with his wife.

Beth Winton: Treasurer
Beth Winton is a native of Southern California. She grew up in Burbank and attended Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Engineering in 2006. While in college, she was a part of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, which made a significant influence on her faith life and enlarged and enhanced her view of Jesus Christ, especially in regards to seeking justice and serving others.
For two years after college, she worked full time as a civil engineer in Pasadena, and spent her spare time serving with Servant Partners ministries (an organization that emphasizes ministry in low-income urban areas). During this time, she felt a tension between her work and ministry. Beth realized that while working as an engineer was a good living, it was not fulfilling. After seeking God’s guidance, she felt led to leave engineering behind her and pursue a career with non profits and community development organizations.
In her free time, Beth loves to sailboat race, travel, exercise, chill with friends, and drink coffee.
